  • 石野真子 Ishino Mako (石野真子), a former idol and actress, appears as Omatsu no Kata (お松の方) at the 57th Hyaku Man Goku Matsuri in Kanazawa. Omatsu no Kata was the legal/main wife of Maeda Toshiie and was known for her wisdom. After her husband's death she took monastic vows and the name Hoshun-in (芳春院) and voluntarily went as a hostage to Tokugawa Ieyasu's Edo in 1600, thereby preserving the safety of the Maeda clan. Ishino Mako was an idol in her youth, singing the hit song Meguriai. She also appeared in the 2002 feature "Ping Pong," as well as "Hana Yori Dango" movie and TV series.
