  • 石野真子 Ishino Mako (石野真子), a former idol and actress, appears as Omatsu no Kata (お松の方) at the 57th Hyaku Man Goku Matsuri in Kanazawa. Omatsu no Kata was the legal/main wife of Maeda Toshiie and was known for her wisdom. After her husband's death she took monastic vows and the name Hoshun-in (芳春院) and voluntarily went as a hostage to Tokugawa Ieyasu's Edo in 1600, thereby preserving the safety of the Maeda clan.
